Healing Rainbow Light for Oregonians
World-renowned solar artist Peter Erskine is bringing the 100 Libraries: Healing Rainbow Light for Oregonians project to Lincoln County with three opening celebrations in one day. These site-specific installations, donated to public libraries across Oregon, transform sunlight into radiant rainbow light that fills the library space.
Join us on Thursday, August 28 for this unique day of art and community:

β’ Toledo Public Library β 4:00 PM
β’ Newport Public Library β 5:30 PM
Each event will include:
β’ An unveiling of the rainbow solar art
β’ Community singing led by Johanna Beekman, including rainbow-themed songs
β’ A short documentary and Q&A with the artist
β’ Refreshments provided by Friends of the Library
β’ Children participating in the unveiling
